We do NOT inbreed our Husky like many 'purebred' breeders.
Each and every dog is from a different home, family or state.
The Siberian Husky are a very happy, friendly, exuberant and intelligent breed, together with their striking appearance and pleasant smiles, they are very hard to resist. However, please remember that the Siberian Husky is NOT for everyone! They need a long-term commitment to activity, entertainment, exercise and obedience. Their unique character and high energy level can frustrate you although they will undoubtedly entertain you and can bring you lots of fun or grief. If this type of relationship does not appeal to you,
please do not take the Siberian Husky into consideration. We strongly recommend that you must do a lot
of research about this breed and ask a lot of questions before owning your first husky. The breeder should also ask you many questions to test your knowledge on the breed before deciding if you are ready to take
on the responsibility of adopting and taking care of a Husky pup.
Do they get on with other animals?
Yes and No. They love the company of other dogs, but you must be cautious when introducing
them to cats and other small animals. Not all Siberians will like your other pets.
Can they cope with our climate?
The thick double coat of the Siberian Husky shows its origins in the cold, cold climate of the north. The dense undercoat is covered by the short, straight guard hairs of the topcoat. The coat holds heat against the dog during Arctic winters, when temperatures may fall to -60 degrees Celsius. However, the coat's structure also reflects heat in the summer, making this breed flexible enough to live anywhere.
How big do they get?
Males up to 60cms and weighing around 27kg.
Females up to 56cms and weighing around 23kg.
Weight should be in proportion to the height of the dog
